The Bed Making Robot was a robot which Calvin and Hobbes designed to help make their bed. It was made out of what appeared to be tinker toys for the body and appendages and a can with drawn-on features for the head. It also had a tape recorder stashed away inside it's head that served as a voice box.
Calvin and Hobbes never managed to control it to make their bed by the end of the day. However, through their trouble, they never had to make their bed, much to their joy.
