Calvin and Hobbes is once again made available to newspapers for daily publication in anticiation of the newest book release.

• Andrews & McMeel releases The Complete Calvin and Hobbes, a three-volume, 1400-page hardcover collection of all of the Calvin and Hobbes strips.

• Ten years to the day after the last original strip ran in newspapers, the last reprint runs. The Complete Calvin and Hobbes having been released, syndication is stopped once more.
